The Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS) organized by Yunus Emre Institute will be held simultaneously on January 26, 2025, at Yunus Emre Institute centers in different countries of the world; and in Ankara, Istanbul and Kilis in Turkey.

ALTE-approved, the first internationally valid Turkish language exam

TYS is approved by ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe) as a reliable and valid exam that measures candidates' Turkish reading, listening, writing and speaking skills. Registered with ALTE's quality mark (Q-Mark), TYS is the first internationally valid Turkish language exam.

Deadline: December 27, 2024

The TYS, whose application dates are between December 2-27, 2024, offers an important opportunity for candidates who want to document their Turkish language proficiency with an internationally valid document.
Candidates who are successful in the exam are entitled to receive a Turkish Proficiency Certificate at B2 and C1 levels according to their scores. This document is an international document that proves Turkish language proficiency worldwide.
