A Meet and Greet Event for International Students was Organized at AÇÜ
An introductory event was organized for students studying as international students at Artvin Coruh University.
In the program organized by AÇÜ International Student Office and Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports at our University Guesthouse, information was provided about the educational opportunities provided by our University to international students and the opportunities and services it offers in many fields such as cultural, artistic, sports and similar fields.
Making evaluations at the introductory event, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Kibar stated that Artvin Coruh University serves over 100 foreign students from 14 different countries.
Stating that our country, especially in recent years, has been making efforts to establish peace and stability in the regional and global arena with the principle of “let people live so that the state lives” based on people, Prof. Dr. Kibar stated that Artvin Coruh University has opened its doors to all students with the educational approach it has built within the framework of friendship, brotherhood and harmony principles. Prof. Dr. Kibar emphasized that they will continue to expand the range of services they provide to students as a University.
Making evaluations at the program, Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mustafa Demirkıran stated that Artvin offers invaluable opportunities for students and expressed their pride in hosting students from sister countries in Artvin. Provincial Director Demirkıran also listened to the students' opinions and suggestions regarding accommodation services at the meeting.
In addition to foreign students, the program was attended by Youth Center Director Hayati Güneri, Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate officials, our University's International Student Office Responsible Lecturer Ercan Soysal, Student Affairs Department Head Mustafa Ünver Sabuncu, Health Culture and Sports Department Head Kaya Erdem, and our University's Youth Office Volunteer Youth and representatives from relevant administrative units.
The program also listened to students' opinions and suggestions on various issues.
