Artvin Çoruh University's Culture, Art and Travel Club and the International Student Club jointly organized a cultural discussion and regional culinary culture presentation program titled "Culinary Flavors from Central Asia to Anatolia." Held on December 16, 2025, at the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Application Kitchen of the Faculty of Tourism, the event, attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın and his wife Mrs. Zehra Aydın, brought together the culinary culture and table traditions of a vast geography stretching from Central Asia to Anatolia. Coordinated by Lecturers Kaan Taşçı and Ercan Soysal, the event featured the preparation and presentation of traditional dishes from different cultures, while information was shared about the historical origins, cultural meanings, and preparation processes of these dishes. The program aimed to increase cultural interaction among students and strengthen intercultural ties through gastronomy. The event, which attracted the interest of both staff and students, was well-received by participants and highlighted the importance of cultural diversity and international student interaction within the university. Following the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the students who contributed to the preparation of the program by our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murat Kibar, Prof. Dr. Fikret Sözbilir and Prof. Dr. Sibel Açılı Çelik, General Secretary Recep Erdem, and guest participant Sezer Altan, a writer for Posta Newspaper.
